Send to Onenote does not transfer the Outlook appointment title

While this work-around helps, the most important feature (still missing) is the easy way a calendar event maintains a link to a OneNote page. Before this recently introduced bug, a simple right-click on a calendar event would not only allow me to create a new OneNote page, but once created, that OneNote page would be permanently linked back to the calendar event. Right click on the calendar event to go to the corresponding OneNote page... A very useful and convenient feature.

In Outlook I select a calendar event and use the "Send to OneNote" from either the ribbon or right-click on the event. It behaves the way it traditionally has and prompts me for a location in OneNote. The Location, Link to Outlook Item, Invitation Message, and Participants are all copied over from Outlook. However, the Title is missing every single time. I've tested this on dozens of different calendar invites.

How do I restore OneNote receiving the Title information from Outlook?

As a workaround (and not having to downgrade to an earlier version of Office) this works for me:

in Outlook click on File - Options - Advanced - Other

"Use Send to OneNote with OnNote for Windows 10, if available"

This let's you choose/select the needed Notebook in OneNote and (with a few more clicks (authetication, open OneNote) from within Outlook you can open OneNote with the title etc. successfully transferred to it.

Just adding to the sanity check here, this is something that recently broke. Glad I'm not the only one with it :)

I have the exact same issue as all the others. This feature worked well for years and now it does not.
