Hi,
I've been working with hundreds of presentations using YouTube videos and had no trouble with ads till now (8/5/24).
I have a Premium YouTube account and have spoken with tech support at YouTube and Microsoft. The problem remains unresolved.

This bug replicates across multiple machines on win10 and win11 and multiple, PC based, versions of powerpoint.
The problem is that microsoft uses some random or guest account to play youtube vids not the premier user ID embedded in the share link.

Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of Google slides functionality wise
I posted it under ‘PowerPoint’ on Microsoft’s feedback forum, where you list all the things for their developers.
