Is Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) Dead? November 2024. I see its migrated to Get Help.

I can't seem to open it anymore.

It was my very effective tool to troubleshoot Office application problems.

Can you help provide alternatives? and must be a Microsoft product like SaRa.

    Seems an incredibly narrow minded thing to just remove one of the best troubleshooting program available, as experience with MS Support varies a great deal. Now you have made it very difficult to preform a clean install of office and reset to default. I have tried the repair option twice now to fix an office issue and want to wipe everything office and reset to a complete default install.

    Thank you. A little bit dangerous to download from unknow source, but what can you do if Microsoft are total morrons these days. Downloaded and I can confirm that it works.

    P.S. I spent 2 hours today trying to get "Enterprise" version of SARA to work, but could not. CLI console just outputs error code 1 and Event Log shows that some kind of MS HTTP endpoint returns HTTP 502 error.

    It's the same bull&%$t story as with new Outlook for Windows. Nobody asked for it and the old one worked perfectly fine, but some corporate lunatic decided that everything needs "modern refresh" with "AI" sticker on it.

    @R.Karar do you by chance have SaRA_17_01_2352_000.zip full download and can share it?

    I can't share it here as it might be deleted.
    But if you google the full name, you will find few links that still has it.
