Hi Derek Harris1,
Agreed with you. What alternative do you suggest?

My earlier price was below MYR300, but now it's above. :(

Hi MS Support,
Your statement, "...The official price of the product will be adjusted according to the per capita purchasing power of different regions and the exchange rate of currencies.
This is not humanly controllable. Usually a rise in price indicates that the currency of the current region has depreciated..."
The above statement is NOT true for the USA because US$ is the Strongest currency and it has NOT depreciated by any standard. Its purchasing power has definitely NOT diminished. I am in the US.
Will I get the original lower price of $99.99? You can remove this Copilot for reduced charges.
Please confirm.
Thanks.

Same question here in Canada. Price has " quietly" increased 45% over the annual subscription price (now C$115 VS $79) but no way to communicate with anyone. I find the service much more unstable recently as well. It may be time to look at the alternatives...
Exactly No option for contacting any support in Australia AT ALL!
I’m not sure but I may have lucked out with simply cancelling my subscription yesterday
Prior to that it was the whole “you need a call back” which was unable to be actioned
I actually think they are overwhelmed atm with complaints
As they should be
Happy to have cancelled and “supposedly” received the rebate : it’s yet to appear in my account but my PayPal tells me it has happened
Still wondering what to do now
I contacted support about this outrageous price increase. They told me a bunch of guff about "improving the product with new features" and when I pressed, they said "The AI thing". They told me to contact Sales on a USA-based number to resolve - and there is no Australian number.
So: the price has gone up about 30% with almost zero notice because they want to force a feature on me that I don't want. And to resolve I have to make expensive international calls!
Microsoft really DOES NOT CARE about its customers. "Take our software, pay more for it, or get lost".
AI - improving the world, but only after we make it more expensive.
