I haven't been able to access my OneDrive Personal Vault in the past few days. I've tried multiple ways (PC, iOS app, webpage) but none works - on the iOS app, it prompted me to setup personal vault even though I've done the setup a long time ago. After completing authentication, the app popped up with "Unable to complete Personal Vault setup, please try again in a few minutes". I tried removing the app and started fresh and that didn't help. on webpage, after authentication, it popped up saying "There was a problem unlocking your Personal Vault". I tried both Edge and Chrome and got the same results. on PC, onedrive can't unlock my personal vault, and popped up with error code 0x8004db90. I tried unlinking onedrive and relinking it and that didn't help. Overall this feels like an authentication issue but somehow only affects personal vault access.. If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it!

How can Microsoft allow such important files not be accessible for over a month going by various comments... Is Microsoft OneDrive engineering actually up to the job and are they really looking to fix this for all users ! Can microsoft please fix my access to PV ... cannot work without these files ! Phew I actually do have a hard disk backup although its about a week old to fall back on if this isn't resolved anytime soon. Defeats to idea of using OneDrive if this service is so unreliable !

Share my story. After reading your post I decided to check my Vault again. First attempt to enter was accidentally rejected by me, just a miss click (I use MS Authenticator app) but the second try was successful and I got my files. It have resolved just 10 minutes ago. I suffered with Personal Vault lock issue since the end of July.

I confirm that today I tried to open the Vault from Android and it opened, after what I opened it from PC. So for me is solved. urgently copying all the documents to hard disc...
