The latest Microsoft 365 Update has added a Copilot function to Word. Now every time I create a new paragraph, a little copilot symbol appears in the left-hand margin prompting me to use copilot. It is extremely annoying and distracting. How do I stop this symbol appearing, or better, remove copilot from Word?

Can you tell me what you did to get rid of CoPilot? I'm on a Mac and can't figure it out.
Does anyone have a solution for Apple/Mac products? This is clearly for Windows.
Thank you for this response. I'm a mac user so I need additional help. I have successfully updated my subscription and disabled auto updates, but please would you provide details of how to roll back the version that you describe above, for a Mac?
Thank you
I don’t want it either but since I upgraded both Microsoft and my iMac to sequoia I cannot get rid and no one has yet replied with a helpful answer on how to remove it.
