**I turned on VPN and I could access the help page.**
My problem started when I could not activate office 365. For weeks, I got the help page "access denied" message. I finally decided to try turning on my Norton VPN (it had been off because it was interfering with internet access, but apparently that is fixed now). I got to the Microsoft help page, contacted support via phone, and they fixed my problem in about 35 minutes. The link between my Windows user account on my PC and my Microsoft account must have been corrupted. They tried a bunch of things, but ultimately, they took control of my pc remotely and made a new Windows user on my PC (just on my pc, NOT the online microsoft account, so don't make a new microsoft account if you are having this issue). They then activated Office, and lastly transferred all my data on my pc to the new Windows user accout. I now have two users on my PC, and I can delete the old user whenever I want. BTW, I would not do this on your own unless you know what you are doing. Also, you must turn VPN off before giving them remote access, just FYI.
