No more option to delete all files from my onedrive recycle bin

I can't empty anymore my onedrive recycle bin at once, when i select all the files in the onedrive recycle bin the option "delete" is no more presented, only the option "restore" is.

If I empty it thru the "manage storage" page and the "empty recycle bin" hyperlink, files are still there even hours later.

The only option is select a single file at a time and use the 3 dots menu where the option "delete" is presented. But as this is file by file, this is of course completely unefficient and therefor unacceptable.

I just find out that i can select maximum 50 files to delete them all at once. Starting from 51, the option disappears... Unbelievable?!

    On a Win 11 OS? Nope.... there's still no option to empty the Recycle Bin. Are you using a phone?

    The default is selecting 100 files at a time...by default.

    Per my previous post(s), "Empty Recycle Bin" has to be returned because there is no reasonable explanation why I need to use my phone when I'm already using Windows, real keyboard, real mouse, real display size that's useful + using a MS product + using a MS OS on top of everything

    It needs to be returned.

    I found a way to enable the "Empty Recycle Bin" button on the web!

    ATTENTION: The procedure must be performed exactly in the sequence below. If you skip steps or type the final URL directly, it will not work!

    1. Log in to OneDrive Online: https://onedrive.live.com/
    2. Click on "Settings" in the top right menu (gear icon)
    3. Click on "Options"
    4. Under "Free up space", click on "OneDrive"
    5. In the browser URL, change the "qt" parameter by replacing "largestfiles" with "recyclebin" So that it looks like this: https://onedrive.live.com/?id=root&cid=XXX&qt=largestfiles
    6. The "Empty Recycle Bin" button will be visible =)

    The irony of all this - which, presumably MS don't see - is that to delete 5000 files from the trash I had to leave my Win11 PC and delete them via an android app. What an operating system!! (But which one?)

    hi there,

    there is no Delete items button if I select all the files in Recycle bin.

    If I select the files 1 by 1, there is a delete items button.

    How can I emtpy ALL the recycle bin in OneDrive?

    For me, the 'Delete' option appears (in the recycle bin) for folders.

    I created a folder in my OneDrive and put everything into it that I wanted rid of (~500 files/2GB), and I was then able to successfully delete that folder from the recycle bin.

    Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly agree with all the comments regarding this functionality (or lack of) being ridiculous.
