No more option to delete all files from my onedrive recycle bin

I can't empty anymore my onedrive recycle bin at once, when i select all the files in the onedrive recycle bin the option "delete" is no more presented, only the option "restore" is.

If I empty it thru the "manage storage" page and the "empty recycle bin" hyperlink, files are still there even hours later.

The only option is select a single file at a time and use the 3 dots menu where the option "delete" is presented. But as this is file by file, this is of course completely unefficient and therefor unacceptable.

I just find out that i can select maximum 50 files to delete them all at once. Starting from 51, the option disappears... Unbelievable?!

Yes, but the link to empty the recycle bin does not work. In the french display, it remains stuck on a popup "Vider la corbeille / Veuiller patienter pendant que nous récupérons les éléments sélectionnés" i.e propably something similar to "Empty recycle bin / Please wait until we retrieve the seleted items".

The only workaround I found is to delete the contents of the recycle bin using the iOS or Android application. It does not work using the web interface or the Windows 10 desktop application.

I tried Edge, Chrome and Firefox in W10 for the OD web interface : same behaviour for the 3 browsers.

I found a solution on desktop without needing to do it on your phone.

    1. From the recycle bin select the settings button on the top right.
    2. Open Manage Storage and storage summary will show below that you will see 4 options (Empty recycle bin, Onedrive, Outlook (attachments), View microsoft account).
    3. Select Empty recycle bin.
    4. Click delete.

Wait for a few minutes, mine took a while.
