My notes on my iphone were linked to my hotmail account but now they are all deleted from my iphone. How do I retrieve them?

There is no option for ‘:sticky notes’ for me in the one note app.

I can see my notes on outlook if I log in via safari on my iPhone, but if I log in on Google chrome or Microsoft edge on PC/Laptop the notes do not show. I have spoken to both apple and Microsoft today, I believe it is a Microsoft issue but they were really poor in helping. I need them back in my iPhone notes app! I have been told to go into settings and mobile devices on the web outlook, delete devices and give it 24 hours to ‘re-sync’ but I don’t believe this will work, Microsoft didn’t fill me with hope and passed me around between agents.

Try this: Web Your sticky notes also sync with the web. Go to www.onenote.com/stickynotes to view them. You might have to log in to your preferred browser with your Microsoft account credentials.

I have done this and been able to retrieve some of my notes and it’s made me feel lot better that at least some are there !! Hope this helps and works for you!!

My son was having this issue and we tried all of the stuff recommended above to no avail but ended up resetting his phone and downloading his last back up from the cloud (thankfully it backed up last night) and the notes came back just fine. Highly recommend going this route if you have a recent backup from before they disappeared.

The method above (checking outlook through safari) was just posted after we got his notes back and moved from Hotmail to the icloud, and we tried it just to see and that worked as well. For that method you go to outlook and look at the area where you select a mailbox (inbox, sent, etc.) and there should be a section that says notes.

I have same issue exactly and what I could do, I had 92 notes inside the notes folder but not loading, however I did remember the contents of some notes and when I searched on them from the email search bar, I could find them under the category of note.

However, this workaround helpful only for the notes that you will be able to remember its content, but for the rest I couldn't find a resolution yet.
