How to disable copilot on microsoft office (excel, word, ppt) on Macbook

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

Thank you!

I have followed all the instructions I can find to disable (or preferably completely remove) Copilot from Powerpoint. I am running Powerpoint version 2506 Build 18925.20168, and it is licensed by my employer. I am using it at home on my personal laptop. First, there is no "Copilot" option when I got to File>Options, so I assume the version precedes that function being added. Second, I have disabled the connected experiences in account settings, and I have closed and reopened the app several times, but Copilot remains stubbornly alive and present.

I want it removed because I don't want it to use the work I am doing in its training. And, quite honestly, I just don't want it anywhere near my work or my computer, but Microsoft has made it impossible to create that amount of distance.

Does anyone have any other tips that will remove it or at least disable it?

    Thanks
