How to disable copilot on microsoft office (excel, word, ppt) on Macbook

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

Thank you!

Ya'all notice that its just users asking for this to be removed? Not one response from Microsoft. Not even a sorry you don't like it, but trust me AI will revolutionize things (which is BS but it would show they read the forums). They set this up so folks would feel like they were being heard but then dip.

They don't care. They invested a ton into this STUPID CoPilot that literally no one wants, so its not going anywhere.

Proof me wrong Microsoft and respond to this with SUBSTANTIVE ways to remove CoPilot PERMANENTLY.

    I never subscribed to copilot.

It appears to have simply been added to my Word 365.

    I DO NOT WANT IT.

But I see no separate entry for copilot in the subscriptions and thus no way to get rid of it.

If I cannot get rid of it, then I will have to get rid of Word 365!

    This response is not truthful.

Using this exact guide provided, the page in question DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO SWITCH OFF COPILOT.

    That option does not exist

This new Copilot is as annoying as Clippy was in the 90's! I, and many others by the looks of it, want it removed and we shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall to do it! What a load of bu****it. Yet again the consumer is left with an annoying feature that is useless.

I've been using Office Suite applications for a long time and I don't need Copilot's assistance.

Microsoft should be providing yet another update. One that gives the consumer the option of saying "No thanks."

I want it gone. I don't want new AI features, especially not ones I can't opt out of. It is distracting, it is slowing down my work process, and it is invasive.
