Folder Shared With Anyone Can't Download All, Can Only Download One At A Time

Sharing a OneDrive folder with a client and I've set the permission to "Anyone with link can download" and they don't have an download option. If they navigate into a folder and select a file, they get a Download link. If they select two files, the Download link disappears. So they can have to download files one at a time.

Their spouse, who is logged in to their Microsoft account, can download.

This is clearly a bug. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure you're not logged in to your Microsoft account
  2. Click this link: Link to OneDrive folder with 2 files in it
  3. Select one file: You'll note there's a Download button
  4. Select the other file: Download button goes away
  5. Deselect all files and select the button next to the folder. No Download button.

    Any updates on the issue?

    I need to share 300+ files grouped in several subfolders with a client with no Microsoft account.

    I share as a link for "anyone" with an expiration date and password.

    There is only "Copy to" option when you select more than 1 file... Which assumes that you have one drive to copy to.

    The "Download" button only shows up when you select 1 file. So you need to select file, then click download 300+ times...

    The obvious solution is to zip up files into one archive, but then it doubles the amount of space I use.

    Guess Microsoft prefer to cause inconvenience to their users rather than use their cloud hardware to zip up files when Download multiple files requested...

    We have similar issues when another person tries to download the file the first stop to download.

    is there any estimate on when the fix will come?
