Folder Shared With Anyone Can't Download All, Can Only Download One At A Time

Sharing a OneDrive folder with a client and I've set the permission to "Anyone with link can download" and they don't have an download option. If they navigate into a folder and select a file, they get a Download link. If they select two files, the Download link disappears. So they can have to download files one at a time.

Their spouse, who is logged in to their Microsoft account, can download.

This is clearly a bug. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure you're not logged in to your Microsoft account
  2. Click this link: Link to OneDrive folder with 2 files in it
  3. Select one file: You'll note there's a Download button
  4. Select the other file: Download button goes away
  5. Deselect all files and select the button next to the folder. No Download button.

    Yeah, that is frustrating. if you share a different folder with a small simple file like a pdf does that work? is this happening to all your folders? (im wondering if the file types, sizes, or names are some sort of edge case that the system cant handle. i know, it shouldn't happen, but . . . . )

    Used to be that clients just could only download one by one unless they were logged in -- if they selected more than one file the "Download" button went away. Now they can't download anything. File type doesn't matter, file size doesn't matter.

    And that is what my paying customers are getting, and why I can't rely on OneDrive.

    yea, that folder is not working, i get the same error as you.

    login or no login makes no difference
