Go in Word. Click account and finally the Microsoft 365 Insider button. Choose Join Microsoft 365 Insider and sign up and agree to the terms The install should then start.
How did you manage to install the insider build? No luck here. It errors out when I try.
This is interesting. I joined the Microsoft 356 Insider and had it install version 2408. Then I left the Insider and ran the command line mentioned here to reinstall version 2407 and it worded. Now I can check for updates from within Office 365.
