Folders Shared with me are syncing as internet shortcut in OneDrive on Windows PC

Hi. I had some folders shared from different users in my OneDrive account. I had added the folders to my OneDrive with Add Shortcut to OneDrive button from Shared folders in cloud. The account is logged into a windows pc and every files including the folders shared with my were syncing fine until yesterday. Yesterday night the shared folders were completely removed from the Windows pc and folders are replaced with internet shortcut. This is such a big mess. I have tried unlinking the account and linking it back, changing the location of OneDrive on my windows pc and tried to get a new folder shared to my account and adding it to OneDrive. Nothing works so far. OneDrive has a big part in my daily activities. Please help me resolve this.

Here is the statement from the Microsoft OneDrive product group (Redmond USA) about the OneDrive Personal problem:

***This is related to a backend migration we are doing and unfortunately, we don’t fully support syncing shared folders in the case where one user has migrated and the other has not. We’re doing everything possible to accelerate things so that it can be resolved as soon as possible for users of the feature. When the accounts are migrated, there is automated logic that makes them go back to a syncing folder within several days.***I have heard, that shared Folder issue is gone.
The best thing is: WAIT and do nothing

    Do you think a billion dollar company like Microsoft with thousands of programmers can't fix its own bug?

    The only thing you can do is create a network drive so that you don't have to edit your data online. The disadvantage is that only one person can edit a file at a time, never simultaneously.

    I work with Grok all last weekend, he was a bigger help than Microsoft has been, but after I updated windows to ……24H2… version and unlinked and uninstalled Onedrive, then updated all 365 programs, (which caused me to loose outlook classic for a moment) then went on the web and unlinked (removed) all shared folder with me, which I could easily reshare from the other person, I opened onedrive through the search bar: 

    3.	Launch OneDrive Manually:

•	Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.

•	Type this and hit Enter:%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe

•	This should start OneDrive. If it launches, it might prompt you to sign in with your personal account. Go through the setup (sign in, choose sync folder location—default is usually C:\Users\YourName\OneDrive), and give it a bit to sync.

    For some reason it was restarting from an older office onedrive version that was causing the links to happen. Not the newer 365 version. This effected my Dropbox files linking as well.

    I’m no tech, so hopefully this helps. If not, maybe Elon will by Microsoft and get it fixed.

    They say we aren’t forced to use co-pilot, but we are, this all started for me when I cancelled 365 so it would ask me if I wanted to go back to family basic (no copilot charge). I have multiple onedrive accounts personal and a few assigned by businesses. They have copilot, that forces me to have and pay for it. So invasive.
