Folders Shared with me are syncing as internet shortcut in OneDrive on Windows PC

Hi. I had some folders shared from different users in my OneDrive account. I had added the folders to my OneDrive with Add Shortcut to OneDrive button from Shared folders in cloud. The account is logged into a windows pc and every files including the folders shared with my were syncing fine until yesterday. Yesterday night the shared folders were completely removed from the Windows pc and folders are replaced with internet shortcut. This is such a big mess. I have tried unlinking the account and linking it back, changing the location of OneDrive on my windows pc and tried to get a new folder shared to my account and adding it to OneDrive. Nothing works so far. OneDrive has a big part in my daily activities. Please help me resolve this.

Here is the statement from the Microsoft OneDrive product group (Redmond USA) about the OneDrive Personal problem:

***This is related to a backend migration we are doing and unfortunately, we don’t fully support syncing shared folders in the case where one user has migrated and the other has not. We’re doing everything possible to accelerate things so that it can be resolved as soon as possible for users of the feature. When the accounts are migrated, there is automated logic that makes them go back to a syncing folder within several days.***I have heard, that shared Folder issue is gone.
The best thing is: WAIT and do nothing

    Hi Microsoft team,

    PLEASE ADVISE when this will be resolved and/or if you are currently working toward resolution.

    We need this working ASAP!!!

    If there is no desire for a fix, or hope of a fix, we need to know so we can act accordingly.

    I think it's time to realise that this so called "bug" is in fact a feature introduced / pulled for OneDrive personal users. A move to force business users onto business subscriptions at a higher cost. One would assume that if it was a worldwide bug, a fix or rollback would have been executed a week or more ago. This is Microsoft being Microsoft, (the old bait and switch), a move designed to please no one other than the stakeholders. We get how this **** works, but the way it was executed is absolutely disgusting, crapping on loyal customers with not so much as an email to say "hey, our plans are changing soon". So, my question to all you OneDrive users is, would you trust a company like this with your data?

    I generate all the error codes for them monday, Everything Microsoft has done this week has made the problem worse.

    I think half the world's pissed off at them.

    I'll verify sunday that it is strictly in their server and has nothing to do with the app installed on theany local machine.

    On linux servers they discovered Back door access Was Distributed from the Linux source code and it.

    from news on this it started destroying a permission's code through this back door a month ago. All the servers I have come across with it normally it is damaged Is permission's, Let's mess up hundreds of thousands of servers throughout all industries.

    I've never seen it taking microsoft this long to fix. but I have a feeling that's where it's coming from.

    you can push a sync on folder with "Goodsync" which how it done before the OneDrive sync from shared computer to shared onedrive and sync fold it down and dirty fix, but it get a team working again, i have this for clients and they every happy and working. It can also be installed on cheap $150 mini computer as a temp server also
