On March 8, 2024 to gain access into my desktop it was stated that I needed to pay for my Microsoft service which had lapsed. At that time I was charged $79.43 which I placed on my capital one card.. Today I received a charge from Microsoft for the same service to the same address and devices in the amount of $106.49. If I had already paid, why am I being billed again 13 days later? I would like to have , the $106.49 credited back to my Capital One card. How do I go about that that?

Microsoft credited my double debit with an extra years subscription. Although trying to get a refund is absolutely impossible, and the garden path is very long in all the very helpful kind ways that they pretend to assist you. Microsoft is no longer the company it was and I will be leaving at the first opportunity. Plenty of other good options available. GoodbyeMicrosoft.

I think it is time for all of us "subscribers" to file a class action suit against Microsoft for making it so impossibly difficult and onerous to get a refund for this common accounting screw-up that is entirely Microsoft's fault. They can follow you from bedroom to office to store and on the road anywhere in the world, but they can't seem to get their billing straight. Microsoft has the ability to buy governments, so I guess if they want to weasel some bucks out of the little guys, who is gonna stop 'em?

I too have been double charged $137.14 which also caused an overdraft on my account of an additional $30.00. I would like both amounts credited to my account,. April 6, 2025 was my original subscription renewal, and the additional charge was today April 15th.

    Thank you,
