One drive has messed up my whole PC. How do I get my files back on my PC, and switch off one drive forever. (Please dont answer a question I did not ask)?

One drive asked me if I wanted to back-up my files, it does not back up, it steals them and puts them online and in the process loses lots of them and makes your whole document opening slower.

This is not what I wanted, and its not what it said it would do (back up)

I dont want it, it has messed up my whole PC.

How do I get my files back on my PC, and switch off one drive forever?

Please dont answer a question I did not ask, don't tell me about where they are stored and an online recycle bin, or green ticks or always keep on this device.

I just want to COMPLETELY reverse the operation.

    What you've done sounds good. If you had let Microsoft do things as most of us have, your system would be fubar as well. Onedrive is not a backup, it rearranges and takes control of your pc file system, And it's very easy to disorganize things exponentially when trying to fix the problem.

    My documents are completely mixed up and lost on my computer. Nothing works with onedrive and I cannot fix it.

    It's the worst software and problem I've ever had and I don't want to use it. Can you please restore my computer to what is was before this mess.

    I feel your pain. I am so upset I have wasted hours messing about and I still don't think I have got all my files back, but I just gave up and turned one drive off - forever. Shame on you Microsoft, I agree we are being duped to pay more money in the hope that increasing storage or manoeuvring space will allow us to get back our files which we have spent a lot of time and effort into creating and organising. I think we deserve compensation for daylight robbery!
