Error code 29 when starting O365

Hello and thank you for the response.

My license is active and shows when I open Word/Excel.

Reinstalled O365 and rebooted.

Still get Error 29 when opening Word/Excel.

Recommendations?

Was being driven mad with this issue, saw this solution somewhere else, it worked flawlessly!

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/activation/reset-office-365-proplus-activation-state#method2 Just run the automated scripts, then open word or some other office app and try to login. Worked for me at least!

!!! IT DOES WORK !!!

• closed all the Office 365 applications
• deleted directories C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\IdentityCache C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneAuth

and, ... miracle!

my Office 365 account is once more active

• no more error 29 Couldn't update license You can continue using Microsoft 365 and try again. if issues persist, please contact Microsoft support. Error Code: 29
• no more Account Error Account Error There are problems with your account. To fix them, please sign in again. Fix me
• no more infinite loops triyng to sign-in in Outlook
• no more useless Microsoft Support assistant / Fixing tools

I hope it will continue working ...
