Stop the Family Feature Pop Up

Every time I turn on my computer, the "sign in Microsoft Family Features" pops up. I have tried:

  • Removing myself from family group per https://account.microsoft.com/family/home (already listed as an adult there)
  • Checking start up options (doesn't show up)
  • Looking at uninstalling Microsoft Family Features (doesn't show up)
  • Deleting the Microsoft Family Feature folder
  • Telling my firewall not to let it through

Every time I did one of these steps, I turned off and back on my computer, and still each time it persisted. Make it stop!!!

    The above solutions did help me for a while, but Microsoft occasionally overwrites regedit and the message pops up again. I despise everything you do, Microsoft, I wish for a better OS every day.

    • In the Services window, scroll down and locate the "Microsoft Family Features" service.

    That service is not anywhere in my list.

    You are my hero. This issue has been bugging me for such a long time. I tried so many things and googled for hours. This weird Swedish(?) link helped me finally get rid of the spam pop-up. Bless you.

    I tried both techniques and in the services window and the user account window the options described are not an option on my computer.... is there another way?
