3/25 It's back!
I'm not sure if it works on every document, but it worked on one of mine!
(Edit on 4/26) It works on some documents but not on others... Does anyone else have the same problem?

Someone in the comment section said "The latest word, as of today, is "The latest update in the bug is that there are still some approvals that the team is waiting on. The Word team is treating this as a high-priority incident and is working to have this restored as soon as possible.". So anyone wondering for any updates, there it is...

When I go in to editor the option for similarity checker has completely disappeared
I cant say for sure when it becaame a problem for me but first became aware 20th November 2023
Another one here.... I hope they fix it asap. I need to send my essays.
This issue has already been logged as a bug (as of 11/14/23) and is under investigation.
I am also having the issue. I am using Word for Mac as part of my 365 subscription.
I contacted Microsoft support who said they will log the issue with the Word team. Maybe other people who are having the issue should also contact Microsoft support so the issue can be escalated.
I am having the same issues, what is going on? EXACTLY the same response as the above customer.
