Sharepoint Thumbmail not diplaying - Reserved

Hi all,

I don't know what has happened. It was working fine and then with no reason stopped. 

I was using powerapps to upload some pictures for the list items into Thumbmail / Image column. It was working fine. Now it doesn't. And even when I try to add it manually from sharepoint lists view it doesn't work either. 
That's what it displays now and at the bottom you can see it was working on previous ones (about 3-4 weeks ago).

I have also noticed change in the link structure, but I haven't changed a single thing. Can somebody explain why is that not working anymore? I needed it urgently today...

    I faced the same issue, but if you go to List Settings -> Advanced Setting -> Attachment and disable Attachments, then when reuploading the images they are placed the usual way.

    Something clearly has changed but at least I could move forward (as I don't need attachments)

    We have the same problem that started late last week.

    • A SharePoint List has an Image type column for uploading a photo and we use Attachments to upload supporting documentation. Now when adding a photo (via the Power App on top, or via Lists) it is saved and displayed as Reserved_ImageAttachment_* in the Attachments list. Now it displays in the Photo (Image) field too, though that wasn't initially the case the first time we spotted this.
    • In the List itself I cannot see the image in the Attachments list, despite it displaying as an Attachment in the App. This is misleading.
    • The image thumbnails also began displaying very blurrily in the App but that seems fixable with ThisItem.Photo.Full.
    • The image URLs have also changed in the manner described; we don't use the URL in automations but browse/access the images via Site Contents > Site Assets > Lists > [relevant list folder] (e.g. for batch downloading), and the new image no longer appears there - I haven't yet found it by navigating in the SharePoint web interface at all so am keen to understand where they now sit so we can still access them in batch too. Any pointers please?
    • The blurry display of images was also the case for a second app that uses an Image type column but doesn't use/display the Attachments column in the App - I've disabled Attachments but of course lost the recent images that will need re-uploading. After uploading new images, they are saved again in the usual Site Assets > Lists folder.

    Hi,

    This did not work.

    When I recreate the list it works, but I've noticed there was a change where pictures from image/thumbmail column are going into.

    Before the link to images were like that: MySite.sharepoint.com/sites/MyTeam/SiteAssets/Lists/ListsUID/filename.jpg
    where ListUID was a random GUID number.

    Now the link is like that: MySite.sharepoint.com/sites/MyTeam/Lists/ListName/Attachments/ID/filename.jpg

    And it doesn't matter if I upload the image from powerapps or directly from sharepoint list - the effect is exactly the same.

    Was there some kind of recent update? Or is it possible that some kind of settings that were changed globally by our admin team? If so, what did they do?

    Do you know of any reason why the place where images are uploaded to has changed?

    Before it was going into

    "SiteName/SiteAssets/Lists/[list_UID_number]/[picturename]" and now it is going into
    (example: MySharepoint/SiteAssets/Lists/Adfs2-3b43-j2Ao-ifj50-0343-1213nd/Picture.jpg)

    Now it goes to "SiteName/Lists/[list_name]/Attachments/[item_ID]/Reserved_ImageAttachment_%B13%SD_%5[ColumnName]%5D%B12%SD_%SBbucketbefore%SD%SB1%5D_%5B9%5D.jpeg

    (example: MySharepoint/Lists/MyList/Attachments/1/Reserved_ImageAttachment_%B13%SD_%5ColumnWithPicture%5D%B12%SD_%SBbucketbefore%SD%SB1%5D_%5B9%5D.jpeg)
