I use a Kaban-style board sorted into buckets for each project. Frustratingly, I cannot figure out how to sort the tasks within a bucket by due date automatically. Currently, if I want to see the most urgent items at the top and least urgent at the bottom, I need to manually drag the task down... which does not scroll down well, so I often need to drag & drop, drag & drop, drag & drop... until it arrives where I need it.
How could I keep this same Kaban-style board format (not list, grid, or schedule view) and have each column sorted by due date, even when I add a new task in?

The ability to sort each bucked by drop down menu on each bucket is a must.
Like a menu that says sort, and a sub menu to sort but Name, Creation Date, or Due date
This is one of the most frustrating functions. I use the planner to track my teams tasks. Even when you switch to grid view you can't filter by date newsest to oldest. IT's always today, next week or later. And when you chose one of those they arent even chronoligical!? Pure hot garbage. Please fix this and let us filter by date correctly.
I am pretty sure their team must only have 2 or 3 tasks to work on in their sample data. There is no way they are coming to work in the morning and using this tool to figure out what tasks to actually work on.....
I would also like to sort buckets by date or alphabetically. I understand that may not be feasible from the bucket view, but it would at least be nice to sort from the list view.

I understand that you can't sort bucket-view by due date possibly because you can sort it by drag-and-drop, but there still should be a way to auto sort a view by due date (which will of course mess drag-and-drop sorts if you have used that).
I even tried to create a workflow with Power Automate (just as I did to auto assign tasks to the creator of the task, since there is not GUI implementation for this in the Planner), but there is no available action to change "list ID" (or what ever is the "invisible" field in the task that saves the task location inside the bucket) so I think Power Automate is also a dead end solution for this.
