I did all the domain checks and everything is checking out fine. SPF and reverse DNS are all correct.

"Remote server returned '550 5.4.300 Message expired -> 421 4.7.28 [2a01:111:f403:7052::701 15] Our system has detected an unusual;rate of unsolicited mail originating from your IP address. Is there a problem on the MS IP addresses right now?

    Benjamin

    Two questions Pls

I have 7 CNAMES in GoDADDY. The two that are not showing up are the SELECTOR1 and 2, which per you last suggestion I copied and pasted again direct from the MS message "selector1-stgp-com._domainkey.southerntechnology.onmicrosoft.com.". GODADDY put the '.' at the end. They do not show up though.

    1. In your DMARC instructions

Dmarc: ADD TXT record to your dns management

    • domain name: _dmarc.yourdomain.com. (.com/be/org...)
    • txt-record: v=DMARC1; p=none; pct=100; rua=mailto:___@___.___; ruf=___@___.___;fo=1:d:s

what goes in the underscores for mailto:? my email is ******@stgp.com. or the admin for the domain is ******@stgp.com. Is this what is supposed to go there? Thanks again?

    Hi BoB,

For Dmarc you just need to add the txt record to your dns records, nothing to activate.

I had the same issue with one of ours customers, i had to modify the cname records and copy Paste from Microsoft dkim Again

    Kind Regards,

    Benjamin.

Couldn't update DKIM yet because it doesn't recognize the CNAMES in GODADDY yet. MS gave me a message of exactly what the CNAME had to be so I did a slight mode to your info. It says 15 mn to 4 days, and overnight it wasn;t ready yet. Is DMARC set up like CNAME? I was going to wait until DKIM activated and then tackle DMARC

We did not update the DMarc nor DKIM records. We updated the TXT and CNAME records in GoDaddy. we took your instructions Benjamin and went to godaddy and went to the DNS area and added those records. we waited and now we can send an email from our .ORG email to 2 or more Gmail email addresses without an issue. weird.

we thought it would not work right away or have other problems.

this MS community was really really helpful. I'm glad I did not wait for MS or Google to fix this issue.

    thanks again, Bill

Looks Good, do you added dmarc too ?

And can you activate dkim successfully in o365?
