Device management notification

This suddenly popped out of a device. What does this mean? What should we do?

"mddprov account has removed your workplace account and deleted all of the information associated with your workplace account (including business apps, password requirements, and other policies) from your device."

Have checked the Settings > Accounts and the account is still connected to that same device.

Support ticket currently being worked through with Microsoft - will update this thread if they are able to share any info. on the cause and (hopefully) resolution. Happened for one other user this morning.

Same issue also today for a few of our employees. Checked their Settings and didn't find anything suspicious there. Also checked our Azure portal logs and nothing there. Very curious to know what MS finds...

I had the same issue with a client today. I ran dsregcmd /status to double check the azure AD status. Everything checked out so I ran a GPupdate and had the users restart their computers and it took care of the issue.

This looks promising. What evidence indicated the issue is resolved?
