Recently updated to new iOS and Microsoft family app keeps crashing. Have restart phone multiple times and uninstall and reinstalled app several times. Before the iOS update, app was giving errors on the notification page. Had to keep hitting refresh button and it would finally connect to Microsoft.

Hey everyone, good news! An update is now available which resolves this issue, with the new app version implementing the fix being 1.24.3. Please update to the newest version and see if the issue is resolved.
Based on some user experience, if you do not get the update offered you may have to uninstall the app first, then reinstall to get the new version.
Same issue here. Works fine on Android. Crashed on iPhone Xr iOS 16.1.2
After crashing the app about 15 times today and reinstalling the app twice and fiddling with background app refresh and location services permissions, running on iOS 16.4.1, I opened up Xcode and had it show the traces for the phone in Console. Here's some of the trace, once filtered. Hard to tell if the problem is that they are getting a bunch of errors about UI layout issues, or some problem with doing a task in the main thread that ought to be in a background / worker thread, or something else.
I also tried checking to see if Settings >> Family Safety had a "Reset" slider or checkbox, like some other apps have (Home Depot has one). Uninstalling the app should delete everything but maybe it doesn't?
Microsoft, please fix this. 😞 And while you are at it stop spamming us with the "Does anybody in your family drive?" question box at the top. I have to reject it every 48 hours...

I also have this 'Family Safety' (1.24.2) app crashing issue on iPhone 8 with iOS 16.4.1.
I'm having that same issue as well. Couple of seconds and it crashes right away.
