Recently updated to new iOS and Microsoft family app keeps crashing. Have restart phone multiple times and uninstall and reinstalled app several times. Before the iOS update, app was giving errors on the notification page. Had to keep hitting refresh button and it would finally connect to Microsoft.

Hey everyone, good news! An update is now available which resolves this issue, with the new app version implementing the fix being 1.24.3. Please update to the newest version and see if the issue is resolved.

Based on some user experience, if you do not get the update offered you may have to uninstall the app first, then reinstall to get the new version.

This issue began when I upgraded to iOS 16.4.1 I tried resetting it several times. Deleted and reinstalled it and all goes well until I try opening the App. I don't think a hard reset will resolve the issue. I thought the current update would make a difference, but nope!

Yep same trouble here. I didn't even realise my iphone had updated I have been putting it off for a while it tells me the i.os. software version is 15.6.1

Iphone says in apple id suggestions that some account services will not be available until I sign in again. I pressed continue and entered my apple password then phone password as requested. App still crashing. I will try the suggestion of commenting on the app store. Luckily today I installed Sentrypc home as I cannot rely on my Now TV broadband buddy either.

I reported and they said to uninstall app. I removed consent for my child then uninstalled in his computer, then accidentally reinstalled in his computer then uninstalled app on my phone and reinstalled it. So far it hasn’t crashed but I have only been resetting time limits so will see what happens tomorrow. Also how do I unsubscribe from this thread? My email box is filling up ahhh
