Hi,

since a few days I have issues with Excel 365. Above the grid it mentions "COULDN'T REFRESH DATA TYPES We need to fix your account. Select Microsoft Excel from the top menu > Sign Out. Then Sign back in with an account associated with a subscription." I have followed the instructions by signing out and then in again however it didn't resolve the issue and it repeats. I have been using Office 365 for many years and just recently the problem started. Now I can't refresh the data. I have checked my subscription and there seems nothing wrong with it and is all updated. Kindly assist me with this issue.

well it worked for about 15 minutes, then I started getting the error again. So I guess reverting to a prior version did not provide a permanent fix!

Thanks for the link. What version number did you revert to? PC or Mac?

I had the same problem, tried all the fixes suggested in this thread to no avail.

Decided to revert back to a prior Office version, followed these instructions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-revert-to-an-earlier-version-of-office-2bd5c457-a917-d57e-35a1-f709e3dda841

This worked for me. I no longer get the error message and my stock data is updating again.
