Brought here by a search? Sorry but the only two possible solutions in the thread (worked for 2 people) are on page 9.

I'm trying to create a E5 Subscription but when I get to phone verification step, I get an error while trying to send the code to my phone number:

We can't continue with the signup process for the following reason:

  • Your phone number did not pass security checks.

I've been using this phone number for over 10 years.

Two possible solutions have been posted in this thread.

    On Page 4:

    Got it to work.

Created a new @outlook.com account with the same number, and created the dev-account from here.

    And on Page 6:

Well maybe this might be the solution. After you get the error on "Add phone number for security" screen reselect your country from the drop down list. Worked for me.
