Win 10 version 21H2 Build 19044.1706

Excel 2016 Version 2204 Build 15128.20224

This problem occurs randomly and with only a few cells being copied. The spreadsheet locks up and the only way out is Save>Close and open the book again. Sometimes that doesn't work and I have to close Excel completely.

Sometimes the top ribbon completely greys out and I can't do anything.

This is becoming a significant problem.

For whatever reason, when I drill down all the way to System 32 - config folder, I can't go pass it. Config would not open.

I don't know if it is because it is a Windows 11 setup or not.

I'm assuming the process is to drill down all the way to the systemprofile and delete the Desktop folder within. Is that correct?

I already had these 2 directories. They basically contain a couple of desktop.ini files and nothing else.

Well, some are basic, and others are much more elaborated spreadsheets (macros) just depending on the project in which I'm involved. By now, and after updating the software to the 2007 version, it seems to be working well. Let's see what happens.
