How to disable Files On-Demand in OneDrive MacOS? It's enforced since the last update ...

For OneDrive home and business, I cannot disable Files-On-Demand since the last update. This is crucial, I need full access to my files at all time.

What is going on? Why would you enforce Files On-Demand on your customers, isn't it enough to enable it by default? My 70GB of cloud data is not local anymore, sometimes I have no internet, you are locking me away from my files. Also making it impossible for me to do full text searches. Files On-Demand is also too slow, waiting a second to display folder contents is too much when you organize things in deep folder structures.

How I can disable Files On-Demand? Will you please stop knowing the best for your customers? We aren't toddlers. Thanks!

If Files On-Demand is enforced by policy, I will leave your cloud service once and for all.

Everyone is missing the brilliance of what MS has done! By making OneDrive an unattractive feature on the Mac, they have induced us to depart OneDrive and store our data elsewhere. That will reduce their storage requirements and network traffic, reducing costs, while keeping us all on the hook for an annual subscription to Office. This was a brilliant way to eliminate a feature of Office subscription without the appearance of eliminating the feature.

Never underestimate those geniuses at MS!

I'm getting the exact same errors.

Respectfully Microsoft, this is a foolish and disrespectful move. I don't want my files completely cloud hosted. I want them locally on my machine and backed up to OneDrive as just one of my methods of keeping my files backed up and accessible.

If this functionality is not returned within the next update, i'm moving it all to google drive that still seems to understand the desires of its user-base.
