Convert handwriting to text with Apple Pencil on onenote with iPad Pro

Hello i have recently started using onenote to take notes for my classes, however i enjoy using handwriting with my apple pencil and having it converted into text like i have with other apps. There is no “ink to text”, only a “ink to shape”

    I'm writing this response using an Apple Pencil directly in to the text field in Safari but OneNote can't do this. Can anyone at Microsoft please add ink to text?

    I periodically revisit using OneNote. However, because Ink to Text is not a feature, I readily give up and discard it as a note taking tool. There are better options that support Ink. I wish MS would prioritize this.
