Convert handwriting to text with Apple Pencil on onenote with iPad Pro

Hello i have recently started using onenote to take notes for my classes, however i enjoy using handwriting with my apple pencil and having it converted into text like i have with other apps. There is no “ink to text”, only a “ink to shape”

Fun fact: They have the ink to text feature in the Word app on iPad.

In case you need more people to tell you this, it is outrageous that you wouldn't have this feature available on the most popular digital tablet. I LOVE OneNote and would love to be to take notes and make them text in order to share them. Come on and hear our voices after two+ years of requests.

Hi,

In case one more 'voice' does help here. I am also really disappointed that ink to text does not work on ipad.... please can it be requested from the product team?

Also the Onenote user voice system is no longer operational.

OneNote will convert ink from a Windows machine and from an Android machine but not Appl. It seems like a petty rivalry issue more than anything
