Pronouns in Microsoft Profile

Hello,

I am interested to learn more about any efforts to include pronouns in Microsoft profiles including Microsoft Teams.

    I can't believe it's been well over a year and still no update from Microsoft on this. There's a Teams AMA coming up on June 9th. Great time for everyone here to jump into the discussion with their engineering team and bring this up.

    Very curious to know when this will be made available. Including pronouns doesn't benefit just trans and non-binary people, it also helps creates smoother interactions between people overall.

    Considering a Pride theme was added to Teams years ago (on mobile anyway, not desktop), and LinkedIn also allows for it, it's a very strange and othering omission.

    Hi Shyamal,

    This matter is becoming increasingly urgent (over 500 comments and 3700 votes in the link you posted). When can users expect an update? My company has switched to Teams but the lack of an editable display name is seriously hindering our ability to stay inclusive during meetings. We may have to end our Teams contract if this issue is not fixed by Q2 2022.
