Cannot Verify Server Identity. The identity of @outlook.office365.com@ cannot be verified.

I have this message appearing on my iPad every 20 seconds or so.  I use an Office365 exchange account to sync email, contacts and calendar onto the iPad and also use Onedrive for storage along with Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.

I have had periods of tim when this error message appears, but usually only for 24 hours max.  If it is for a prolonged period, I found that deleting the Exchange account from the iPad and setting it up again often cured the problem.

This time it has been going on for weeks, with no let-up.  I have deleted and set the account up again twice, to no avail.  Please help it's driving me bonkers.

    This has been happening on my iPhone for the past several days, too.  My email is actually working, but this error message keeps popping up. When I click on the DETAILS buttons I see the certificate for outlook.com Issued by DigiCert Cloud Services CA-1 is "Not Trusted" "Expires 10/7/21 6:00am". Under "More Details" the validity period is 10/6/2020 6pm through 10/7/2021 6am.  Lots more information there...someone please tell me what bits are needed.

    URGENT!  I have the same problem "the identity of outlook.office365.com cannot be identified" - but my problem is not on iPhone or ipad but on my PC laptop. I use Outlook365 on Microsoft exchange server. It stopped working yesterday with the above message. I am not able to work without my Outlook working!  HELP!

    That's helpful.  I could try using the Outlook app instead of relying on Apple's iOS Mail, Calendar and Contacts apps, but would prefer have all my various email, calendars and contact accounts in one app, rather than splitting them across two different apps, which could cut down speed of working.  I will try turning the iPad off (again), then also try turning off SSL and see if that makes a difference, will this compromise security though?  

    I use Outlook on Windows 10, an iPhone and a Surface laptop, none of those are reporting this error.  My previous iPhone 7 was prone to this error, but my current iPhone X and iPhone 11 do not have this problem.  Perhaps this would indicate some incompatibility between older iOS devices and current Exchange Server settings.  The iPad is three years old.

    I’m having the exact same issue on my Mac, iPhone 11 Max, and iPad Pro. It’s getting worse and popping up more and more often (several times in a row now). I use Apple’s mail app. Please find a solution, it’s something you changed recently.

    I also have the same issue...but across my Mac OSX, iPhone, and iPads!  Clearly, a Microsoft problem to address.
