Cannot enable OneDrive 'Camera Upload'

Hello,

I want to free up space on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

When I try to enable 'Free up space on the device' in the OneDrive app, I get the message:

'Camera upload must be enabled ...'

The problem is that there is no camera upload setting anymore.

Or am I missing something here ...?

I use the latest version of Android and version 6.1.1 of OneDrive.

Thanks!

I turned off the Sync option in the Gallery app and it fixed the issue (I use the S10+).

Once turned off in Gallery go back to the Accounts section in settings, then OneDrive and the option to sync photos to OneDrive is available again.

    Thanks for your help.

<removed> ... you are the only correct answer after 6 hours of searching.

Thank you, if you were near me I'd buy you dinner and a few beers. Keep doing man kind a service because God knows MS don't frickin care about its customers.

10 pages of responses and a waste of time, but thankfully this should be elevated as the correct answer (go to phone settings, accounts and backup, manage accounts, OneDrive, turn on Media Storage sync) and the thread just closed. Thank you!
