I don't know the answer for you. Do as I plan to do and keep trying to speak to a person at Microsoft. I get no where trying to find out the answer on the computer.  Not sure why they are making it so hard for people to get refunds. They are a veryyyyyy rich company!!!!!

    Hi ,freddyvandenabeele

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

    1. Sign in to the https://account.microsoft.com/services page with the Microsoft account associated with your Office 365 subscription
    2. Look for the Cancel link or Expires on date.

If you see a Cancel link under the subscription name, select Cancel. You might be given the choice to get a refund for unused time. If you choose to get a refund, the subscription will go into View Only or reduced functionality mode immediately. Otherwise, you'll have access to your subscription until it expires.

If you don't see an option to Cancel, you might have turned off automatic renewal and won't receive additional charges. You don't need to cancel. Your subscription will end on the Expires on date.

If you don't see an option to Cancel, and you see Paid with and None, your subscription will end on the Expires on date. There's no need to cancel because you won't receive additional charges.

You may receive a refund if you:

Bought a yearly subscription within the last 30 days, OR.

Bought a monthly subscription, and cancel within 30 days of your last renewal date.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.

Hey gehrig i faced a similar problem with the refund.

    There are some pointers

    1. The 24 hrs after they have billed you is not taken into consideration and therefore you would have the option of cancellng the subscription as their system has to be updated.

2)Now after the 24 hrs you can visit your account and see the cancel subscription option . Now here when you cancel they will say that you cant cancel coz u already paid for it which again irritates you .

    1. now there is a thing called microsoft ambassodors who can help you i will try putting the link https://portal.belimitless-app.io/content/en-US/tenant/MicrosoftAB/3rd-party-hosting/onecloud-chat/index.html?ceslink=https://partner.support.services.microsoft.com/en-in/contact/chat/44/?disability=false

You can ask for the refund and cancellation . You have to give them ur account mail id and they will proceed with cancellation and refund . They will provide you with the case no to follow up as well. Withink 3-5 business days they will refund you.
