Good day team.

We're getting this when opening any document in office 2010. We're running it on WinXP SP3 32 bits.

"The procedure entry point EnumCalendarinfoExEx could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll"

Haven't found any solution so far, all help is welcome.

OMG! I was having the same error message "The procedure entry point EnumCalendarInfoExEx could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll" So I checked to see what updates had been installed since I was in the office last week... KB4462157 on 1/18/2019. Uninstalled that one and Excel is now working! I hope this fix works for you as well.

    I have the same problem with the same pop-up.  KP4462157 isn't on my computer.  Other possible problem updates are KP4462174 and KP4462177 which I removed.  Office programs still won't open. Additional problem updates KP4461552 and KP4461614 aren't on my computer.  I used System Restore to mid January date to no avail.  Where do I go from here?                                                                           Note: I had a similar problem last year with the GetDataFormatEx pop-up.  Removing KB4461522 got Office working.

    Alvin,

       I got the GetDateFormatEx error message as well when trying to open MS Excel 2010. I found a blog post that said that KB4461522 is causing this issue. When I uninstalled this update, this error disappeared.

    Go to Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs, ensure that "show updates" is ticked, then scroll down until you get to Microsoft Office.  Then you will see all the updates that have been added - so far the offending ones that I have encountered are KB4461614, KB4462157, and KB4462174.  Remove them, ensure that  in Automatic Updates you tick "notify me but don't download or install" and when you get any of them in a notification about updates being ready untick them and check the box that comes up about "don't remind me again".
