Some good news:
- I've contacted Microsoft OneDrive Support, and they've told me that engineers are now working to fix 'Search' using Windows
- And now, the search function is working on Apple!!!

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

Dropbox? Numba one IMO. Even the desktop client has a "search functionality", I don't have to start a web browser at all, just click into Tray and search.
I found a working alternative for OneDrive search. Unfortunately this currently takes too long in my computer though.
1.Follow the following video and setup your one drive as a network drive to your computer:
2.Open File Explorer, navigate to your network drive and use the search button at the top right.
File explorer is going to very slowlly search every folder of your OneDrive and will finally find the files you are looking for.
Please, let me know if this method does not work in your computer.
It’s exactly what it should be for file name and contents search. For clarity I have gsuite account.
