OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

How lame that in 2020 a file sharing and access features lacks basic reliable search functionality.

Please tell me I missed something.
I was never a fan of 365 but I am at a new company any everything I need is on a shared one drive but I am relegated to alphabetically scrolling through file name hunting for information.
I can not even wrap my head around this.

2020-07-19T17:08:31+00:00 The problem is there for years. Even when using OneDrive for business. I gave up waiting for the fix. Pity, because integration with Office 365 is really cool.
