Error- the name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag

Hi, never really posted in one of these things before I this is sort of an emergency, I have an important document due in a few days for uni and all was going good until I encounter the error 'the name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag' which is preventing me from opening my document.

Naturally when I encounter this error I googled and attempted many fixes and have been attempting to edit the document.xml file for around 4 hours now to no avail.

I would greatly appreciate some help in how to overcome this error, I've linked a google drive folder with both the entire word document as a .rar file and the document.xml file as well as a screenshot of the error below.

I really don't know how to use this site but any help would be appreciated tremendously due to the importance of me resolving this error quickly.

    Hi Linda,

    I have returned a repaired copy of the document to you.

    The error was associated with the following “compound” image

    I use the term “compound” image to refer to images that are made up of a number of components, such as the labels in the above.

    As the use of such images is a very common source of corruption in Word documents, I suggest creating them in a separate document and then using a screen capture utility to create a single image, such as that below, which you then use in your actual document.

    The separate document should be retained in case it is necessary to edit one of the images

    I don't think that you can do anything with a corrupted file that has been encrypted.

    Let me know when you have retrieved it so that I can delete it from that folder.

    Note, you should install the Service Packs that are available for your version of Office as the cause of the errors that were present in your document was dealt with by SP-1.
