Hi,
Im running Office 365 2016 on a new MacBook 13 Pro touch bar, under Sierra 10.12.1. Im faced with a flickering screen when running a powerpoint presentation in presentation mode. So far I've tried just about every thing, even wiping the entire disc and reinstalling all software (just to make sure there was no garbage left form my old Mac). The flickering issue seems only to occur in PP and more specific in the presentation mode. When running the same presentation in keynote (by opening the .pptx file) the issue does not occur. At this point it seems to be isolated to MS Office - PP.
Has anybody encountered something similar? Any ideas?

Thanks for your patience. It looks like this issue has been fixed in macOS Sierra version 10.12.4 Beta 2. Let us know if you continue to run into any problems. And thanks for helping us troubleshoot this!

Apple released 10.12.4 yesterday. This release should include the fix for the screen flickering issue. If folks could update and then confirm back on this thread if that is indeed the case, that would be great.

Im in talks with Microsoft and AppleCare right now. They are both aware of the issue. According to apple, it is a isolated incident.
I urge you to contact Microsoft and AppleCare. I personally emailed the CEO of Microsoft and called apple care.
Please record every time it flickers and then call AppleCare so they can send you a link to submit the videos. Do provide details of when it occurs, what slides it occurs with, and the date and time.
This is what I sent to both Microsoft and AppleCare:
Hope all is well! The issue with power point occurred again on Thursday and Saturday night. Attached to the email are videos. Disregard the voices in the background as I was in class when it occurred. Hope you find them useful.
For IMG_4303.MOV and IMG_4304,MOV, it occurred on Thursday, March 09, 2017 at around 7 pm. I have attached the slides Chapter 6 textbook slides.pptx) I used for class. I assumed this problem only occurred with this publisher's ppt but than it occurred on today, Saturday with a different set of ppt.
On Saturday, March 11, it problem persisted. I have attached IMG_4318. I opened up my intermediate accounting ppt to look over my notes when the problem occurred. To me, it seems like every time I open up my slides my screen flickers so I did some work and I hope you find the information below useful. IMG_4321.MOV is about 5 minutes long:
The first 3 minutes show my ppt for chapter 5 when the flickering gets progressively worse, I closed the ppt. I then open my Fed tax ppt (see attached) and the problem was still going on (3:20 to 4:20) so I closed that one and opened up a another slide created by my professor (4:21 - 5:10, see attached) and the problem didn't occur. Based on my analysis, it seems to me that the flickering occurs when viewing large sized ppt files. The one I showed you was a relatively small sized file. I am on break from school so any time after 1 pm EST, except Thursday, I am available to talk on the phone.

Hi, is this update available? I have this problem persisting. I did all the updates from Microsoft. But I am on macOS Sierra version 10.12.3 and there are no available software updates.
