How to insert a picture in header or footer in Excel 2016?

Hello,

I'm currently working on a spreadsheet, and I need three pictures in the header. However, I can't find how to do this in Excel 2016. Did Microsoft remove the option? Does anybody know how to do this?

It's funny because I opened a previous version created in Excel 2011, and it shows the picture and then Excel crashes.

Thank you in advance for your answers

William

this is dreadful - why take away useful features from previous versions?! Microsoft - please add this feature back into next update - i need this!

In this particular forum you are addressing fellow users of Excel, not Microsoft. If you want to make a plea to Microsoft, they listen to suggestions and feedback in this forum, where you can add your vote to the hundreds of votes already cast in favor of fixing this broken feature:

Enable pictures or photos to be inserted into the header of an excel sheet

Microsoft's non-committal reply to the the request for this repair as of this morning:

"Thanks for taking the time to make the suggestion. We’ll take a look at getting this back into the product, an we’ll prioritize the urgency according to the votes. Keep the votes coming for the things you want to see soonest.

    Thanks

    John [MS XL]"

Thanks. I did in fact posted the similar comment at the other forum as well. But since I noticed comments here from some MS employees, I figured extra mention here is also warranted. Hopefully there is enough pressure on them to fix this feature soon. I am still shocked that it hasn't been fixed already.
