How to insert a picture in header or footer in Excel 2016?

Hello,

I'm currently working on a spreadsheet, and I need three pictures in the header. However, I can't find how to do this in Excel 2016. Did Microsoft remove the option? Does anybody know how to do this?

It's funny because I opened a previous version created in Excel 2011, and it shows the picture and then Excel crashes.

Thank you in advance for your answers

William

I'm sorry to be so repetitive, but this is a user-to-user community forum. When you are posting here you are addressing fellow office users like you and me, not Microsoft. I don't think it's pathetic that Microsoft offers two different forums. This one is for user-to-user interaction. The forum I linked to is for user-to-Microsoft interaction specifically about the topic being discussed here.

If you want to let Microsoft know your opinion and want to see Microsoft's reply, follow the link! Unless you see a blue Microsoft badge under someone's name in this forum they don't work for Microsoft and don't represent Microsoft (I don't work for Microsoft). In its drive towards competing in the consumer market (Apple), Microsoft clearly is leaving behind their bread and butter. Please stop trying to be Apple and instead be Microsoft.

Also, can someone clarify if the decision to leave this feature out was an accident or was it done on purpose? If this was done on purpose, I would wonder who would decide that putting a company logo on the top of the document is not an important feature?

Lastly, since this was discovered almost 10 months ago, is it possible that it takes this long to get it re-added?

Could you at least confirm that Microsoft intends to fix this? Or are we still waiting for enough "smiley-faces" to be clicked for this to make it to the managers desk?

This forum is user-to-user. If you want to address comments to Microsoft about this issue use the Uservoice forum:

    https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304933-excel-for-mac/suggestions/9303810-enable-pictures-or-photos-to-be-inserted-into-the

The Microsoft response implies they really don't want to fix this.
