Word 2016 envelope not printing to centre alignment

Hey all, SO, I am not a novice user by any means, and upgrade with each new Professional Office version. Since I upgraded to 2016, my envelopes will no longer print properly. When I feed them through, I get the address at the top of the envelope and the return address is cut off. If i print to a regular size piece of paper, it prints all the way to the left of the sheet. I have tried changing the alignment and changing back, manually designing a custom envelope size, I have uninstalled my printer and reinstalled, I have uninstalled office and reinstalled. Nothing is working. It's almost like there is a glitch that won't line the envelope up properly. It was working a few weeks ago the last one I printed before I upgraded. My temporary workaround is to go to my desktop and print from there as that still has word 2013. But that is not my main computer and is a real pain in the **** to do.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? Microsoft only tells me that as I was able to install it, I can pay them $99.00 USD (As I am Canadian, this currently converts into approx $140) to fix the issue that they caused, after I paid for the software. That is just as bad as the computer hijackers they have these days. I'll hijack your computer and make you pay to get it back. Ridiculous.

Hi Doug.

My issue may well be related to not having a good Apple device driver for my printer, but here goes. The envelop feed mechanism on the printer forces the envelope into the center of an 8 1/2 x 11 paper feed. When I print on my Windows machine, it works fine

When I print envelopes on Windows machine, all worked well. (That is, the printing would have been contained within the red box on the second image.)

When I print an envelop on my Mac, the print screen looks as below in the first image, but the paper comes out like the second image. On that second image, I have drawn a red box where it should have printed and does when I print with a Windows machines abeit with an earlier version of word.

I am still not seeing a resolution tot he problem with the printing of envelopes from the mailing function.

This is going on since the update to Word 2016 and despite pages of queries and requests for assistance nothing has changed.

Again I am convinced that this is a Microsoft level issue because of the range of makes and models of printers affected. it is extremely unlikely that so many manufacturers got it wrong.

Where are you changing Printing Preferences? I don't see that in Word for Mac or in my Mac print preferences.

Then why has my printer been working just fine until recently? My printer didn't change. Oh, and if that was a problem, why wouldn't it also be a problem with printing from Google Documents? Something is wrong somewhere and I don't have the technical knowledge to know how to fix it. All I know is I want it to work correctly.
