Maxwell,
I'm checking in on this issue as it applies to our situation here as well. We just migrated to Office 365 and several of us in IT have perpetual licenses of both Visio 2016 Pro and Project 2016 Standard.
I submitted a service request via the Office 365 portal, and eventually, I was able to use the ODK to /download, /configure and /install both Visio and Project. I shouldn't have had to fight and waste two days to get it all installed, but I'm sure Microsoft
has heard all of that before.
I was told by the Microsoft support team that I would be able to use the products even though our MAK license key isn't accepted. Well, that was true for awhile. However, both Visio and Project are now presenting me with the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard
dialog.
Now that I have the problem again, I'm seeing posts that advertised free product upgrades, if you can get through the process prior to June 30th. Obviously, I didn't see the post or follow the process in time.
Can you provide some guidance on what needs to be done? It's very frustrating for all of us here in IT.
Thank you,
Scott
