Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

I've been hitting my head against MS tech support all morning on this.  This has to be illegal.  I paid for the 2013 product directly to MS for the standard edition, and then 6mo later it is removed with no way back unless I pay for it again.  I could live with a 365 subscription, but that's also impossible with a home account.  I understand this also affects Project 2013.

I'll provide an update.  Tech support is flailing and has no idea what to do.

    Yahoo! Maybe!

How do I upgrade to Office 2016 if I have an Office 365 subscription?

No Revert back to 2013 from 2016! (see link above)

    Sorry, “upgrading” to 2016 is a one-way trip, like falling into a black-hole <grin>

Office 2013 is no longer available at all (bad luck if you wanted it for compatibility or just familiarity).

Change in Policy - Maybe Rollback - "Unsupported version of Microsoft Exchange" error when you use Outlook 2016 to connect an Exchange 2007 account

This article provides you with a way to bludgeon MS Support into giving Office 2013 back! YAYYY!

I just saw this question and reply.

So if you contact MS support and quote the MS KB article you may be able to get 2013 back!  YAY!

Sorry, how do you think MS makes its Billions of dollars ...

Visio and Project are interesting.  What I'd like to know is why they are called "Office" when they are NOT included in ANY office bundle. Not even Pro Plus.

Were you one of the lucky ones who had "adventures" trying to get Visio 2013 to install with office 365?  Many people had a very hard time installing both at the same time.
