YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

Older versions of Office such as Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

    I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 10.  I installed my copy of Office Pro Plus 2007, for which I have a product key, but whenever I try to open a document in Excel 97-2003, it keeps trying to force me to open it in the new version of Excel, for which I do not have a license.

    Why can't I do this???? 

    I have a number of documents created in Word and Excel from Office 2007.  Why can't I use my copy of Office 2007 that I have to open these documents??

    I do not know what is the problem in your case but of course all documents in my Office 2007 is perfectly working in Windows 10 64 Bit PC and have also received all the latest updates which I can see in the update history.  Try upgrading to Windows 10 which is still free if you have a genuine 8.1 key only till 31st December.
