Powerpoint will not scale properly on second monitor

Powerpoint refuses to scale properly on my second monitor and borders menu items etc. stay too big to operate efficiently. Word is working as it should and the menu items resize appropriately when moving from monitor to monitor. Is there a setting to fix this and make it behave like Word does?

    This worked for me.

    Now moving PPT from 4K laptop display to FullHD external display works fine and Powerpoint scales OK.

    Just wondering why it is not set by default like this :(

    I hade the same issue in Office 2016.

    That version already has a .manifest file and a setting called dpiAware.

    I simply updated the value "True/PM" to false and it seems to be working.

    To bypass the issue of having permission to save the modified 'powerpnt.exe.manifest' file in the Office16 folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16), I first saved a copy on my desktop and then copied it over  to the Office16 folder with Administrator rights.

    Hi there,

    Despite the firm promise that this issue will be solved with the anniversary edition of Windows 10, the issue is still there and not 100% solved with the manifest modification, using PowerPoint is an horrible customer experience with this large menu issue, and this doesn't happen with the other Office products, a funny issue because if one of the office product should run on a big screen IT IS PowerPoint!

    Any Office Tech to read the post?

    Hi All,

    I am using Office 2016 and I am facing the same issue of resolution size where PowerPoint is not the same size as Excel. This becomes worst when comparing my Dell e7470 with the Dell P2715Q 27" Ultra HD Monitor

    Is Microsoft aware of this bug? or is it part of the actual design of the office apps?
